And not 10 minutes after I got there, a bus ran down and broke the yield sign in front of the elementary school.
Two other buses ran it over. It was loud each time. I lol’d.
Sucks having one kid in elementary, and one in middle school now. Mostly because there’s an HOUR LONG DIFFERENCE in start times. And not many Pokemon nearby to hunt. FML.

But why? Why start on Thursday before a long weekend?

Sounds about right. Bus drivers tend not to be ... shall we say, the most “professional” drivers. By in large they’re complete idiots who have managed to never get a DUI, so they can get licensed.

We just started Kindergarten and my daughter is in a half-day MDO. We've got 1:15 difference in start times, and 1:30 difference in ending times. And both schools are along the same road, a few miles apart. If my wife did all the runs, she'd be doing nothing but driving kids to/from school for nearly 2 hours a day (including carpool wait times). Thankfully I do 1-2 of those runs each day, so we're splitting it up.

Thankfully the 4k-5 school is on the same plot of land as the 6-8 otherwise I’d be putting some miles on....
Trying to find a before-school club to get the youngest into so there’s not such a long wait. And then I can get to work a lil’ earlier.
